On the Water

Born in Washington state, my earliest memories are of the ocean. I remember beach combing in magical fogs. Moving at the age of 4 with my family to San Jose, I was again near the water, but I never ventured out onto it until I met my husband, a life long sailor.

Fortunately, I do not get seasick! Upon his retirement, my husband built his dream boat, and thus began our incredible adventures sailing many summers from the builder in Toronto, along the eastern coast of North America, eventually to Puget Sound. We transitioned to a motor trawler and eagerly look forward to further adventures on the Inland Passage to Alaska.

The Pacific Northwest takes my breath away. The serenity beauty and serenity fill up my senses. I feel so fortunate I am an artist and can express my love of this place in a tangible way.
